This is a super easy and delicious ketogenic breakfast shake. Great for post-workout as well. Shakes have been my saving grace on the ketogenic diet. When you’re out of meal ideas or ingredients, or just too tired to cook shakes are a reliable go-to meal replacement or snack.
If you don’t already have a Vitamix blender I highly recommend them. They aren’t cheap – but WELL worth the investment. The Vitamix is an invaluable tool in your ketogenic cooking arsenal! Once you try it you won’t know how you ever survived without one. I use mine so frequently that I’ve purchased multiple blender pitchers! You can buy a Vitamix on Amazon. I also recommend this Whey protein. Tera’s Whey has 110 calories per serving, with 4 net carbs, and 20g of protein. Tera’s Whey is ethically sourced from grass-fed cows, gluten-free certified, rBGH/rBST free, non GMO and Kosher. Blended with fair trade certified dark chocolate cocoa and lightly sweetened with organic stevia.
